Autumn is here

Well Autumn is well and truely here! The leaves are shades of burnt orange and the sharp winter wind is blowing them up into the air. This is my favourite time of year, when I can layer up in big wooly jumpers and fluffy boots but still enjoy the occasional day of sunshine. It is days like these that I most enjoy going for a walk and just revelling in nature. I find that inspiration for my writing largely comes from my surroundings and the observations I make, and I know that it won't be long until the winter rain and possibly snow casts a dreary setting over the next few months. With a trip to Paris coming up in December I'm hoping to get some ideas for future travel articles and even for future novel characters...
